Role Responsibilities

Performance Analysis

• Collects and analyzes data related to store operations, including sales figures, shrinkage, labor hours, ordering, and process compliances.
• Assess the performance of individual stores or the entire retail chain against established targets and benchmarks.

KPI Monitoring

• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are essential metrics that measure the success of a store’s operations.
• Tracks and monitors KPIs such as customer satisfaction scores, complaints, sales, cost, process, people performance and compliances, to identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.

Performance Reporting

• Prepares regular reports and dashboards that summarize the operational performance of the stores.
• These reports often include data-driven insights, recommendations, and comparisons to previous periods and action items for follow up.
• Communicate these findings to senior management and field managers.

Process Improvement

• By analyzing operational data and identifying performance gaps, suggests and implements process improvements to optimize store operations.
• Could involve streamlining inventory management, optimizing staffing levels, improving visual merchandising, or enhancing customer service protocols.

Budgeting and Forecasting

• Plays a vital role in budgeting and forecasting activities for store operations.
• Provide insights and data to assist in the creation of realistic budgets and forecasted sales targets.
• Monitor actual performance against the budget and provide variance analysis to explain deviations.

Training and Support

• May provide training and support to store managers and staff on operational processes, systems, and best practices.
• Ensure that employees are equipped with the necessary tools and knowledge to perform their roles effectively and contribute to overall operational excellence.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Computer Science
• Proven experience as a business intelligence analyst or similar role, preferably in a corporate
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into meaningful insights
• Proficient in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, BI, PP, and etc
• Knowledge of fraud prevention is a plus point
• Experience with power BI and KPI performance tracking a plus
• Data driven, analytical and detailed oriented
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical departments
• Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and quality
• Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced, dynamic retail environment
• Possess own transport and willing to work in office-based in Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
